Chapter1501:31-11. Refuges and Restricted Hunting Areas |
1501:31-11-16. Green island refuge

(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to enter at any time without written permission from the chief of the division of wildlife within a certain area on the Green island refuge, posted with signs reading "State Game Refuge, Trespassing Unlawful," more particularly described as follows:
A tract of land situated on Green island in lake Erie, Ottawa county, Ohio, beginning at a point on said island twenty-five feet true west of the vertical centerline of the abandoned stone lighthouse tower, and proceeding true north a distance of one hundred ninety-five feet, more or less, to a point on the shoreline of lake Erie; thence, easterly, southerly, and westerly along said shoreline to a point; thence true north a distance of two hundred thirty-five feet, more or less to a point of beginning, containing 15.80 acres, more or less.
(B) The lands described above shall be closed to all persons except authorized division of wildlife personnel while such persons are in the performance of their official duties, or those issued a permit by the chief, division of wildlife.
(C) All definitions set forth in rule 1501:31-1-02 of the Administrative code shall apply to this rule.
