Chapter1501:47-9. Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District |
1501:47-9-01. Horsepower limitations

The following horsepower limitations shall apply to below named waters of the Muskingum watershed conservancy district.
(A) "Horsepower" means the horsepower rating published by the manufacturer for the power unit involved and any power unit modified to reduce or increase the manufacturers rating may not be operated on the waters of the district.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a watercraft having a motor capacity in excess of ten horsepower on Beach City, Charles Mill, Clendening, Leesville, Piedmont and Wills Creek lakes.
(C) It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a watercraft with a motor in excess of twenty-five horsepower on Atwood lake.
(D) It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a watercraft with a motor in excess of three hundred ninety-nine horsepower on Tappan lake.
(E) It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a watercraft with a motor in excess of three hundred ninety-nine horsepower on Seneca lake.
