3342-4-09. University policy regarding the operation, regulation, and control of motor vehicles on campus

(A) Purpose. Under the authority of section 3345.21 of the Revised Code, the board of trustees of Kent state university has adopted Title 45 of the Revised Code for the regulation of motor vehicles on campus.
(B) The board of trustees of Kent state university specifically authorizes the Kent state university police department to enforce all sections contained within Title 45 of the Revised Code on all applicable streets, roads, and access drives on campus.
(1) Kent state university police department is directed to enact speed limits within the guidelines of Title 45 of the Revised Code.
(2) Kent state university police department is directed to erect and maintain traffic control devices (including speed limit signs) as defined in division (QQ) of section 4511.01 of the Revised Code.
