3358:5-7-06. Residency policy

Latest version.
  • It is the intent of the college to be consistent with the state of Ohio Administrative Code in definitions of residency status for students.

    (A) As applied here, the purpose of the Ohio Administrative Code is to exclude from treatment as residents those persons who are present in the state of Ohio primarily for the purpose of receiving the benefit of a state-supported education.

    (B) As an institution of higher education charged with reporting student enrollment to the Ohio department of higher education for state subsidy purposes and assessing the tuition surcharge, Clark state community college provides individual students with a fair and adequate opportunity to present proof of their Ohio residency for purposes of this chapter. The college may require the submission of affidavits and other documentary evidence which it may deem necessary to a full and complete determination under Clark state rules.

    (C) A petition for reclassification of residency must be approved by the records office. Such approval must occur prior to the first day of the term for which it is to be effective.
