3770:1-9-270. Game rule number two hundred seventy
-
(A) Title and term. Ohio lottery commission game rule number two hundred seventy, "Alpha" shall be conducted at such times and for such periods as the commission may determine. For the purpose of this rule, "sales cycle" shall mean any such period, including reprints, beginning on the date when ticket sales are commenced and continuing through the date established by the director as the date on which sales with respect to tickets allocated to sales agents during the period in game rule number two hundred seventy will cease.
(B) General design.
(1) Game rule number two hundred seventy is a "Letter Match" word game with an additional win feature and is generally known as an "instant lottery."
(2) The holder of a valid ticket will have thirteen "Words" and twenty "Your Letters." The "Your Words" play area will consist of five "Words" that have three "Letters," four "Words" that have four "Letters" and a multiplier of two, three "Words" that have five "Letters" and a multiplier of three and one word with six "Letters" and multiplier of four. The player will scratch off each letter in the "Your Letters" area. The player will then scratch off each letter in the "Your Words" section play area that matches "Your Letters." To win a prize award, the player must uncover all of the "Letters" in a "Word." There are thirteen chances to win on each ticket and a player may win up to thirteen times.
(3) As used in this rule, "prize award" shall mean one of the following monetary figures which is the total of all winning prize values appearing on the ticket: three dollars, five dollars, six dollars, nine dollars, ten dollars, twenty dollars, thirty dollars, fifty dollars, seventy-five dollars, one hundred fifty dollars, three hundred dollars, one thousand dollars, ten thousand dollars and thirty thousand dollars. Each ticket in game rule number two hundred seventy shall be imprinted in such a way that prize awards from the set listed above may be won.
(C) Price of tickets. The price of a ticket issued by the commission in game rule number two hundred seventy shall be three dollars.
(D) Structure, nature and value of prize awards.
(1) There shall be one type of prize in game rule number two hundred seventy called a "regular prize award."
(2) The only "prize values" which shall appear on a ticket in game rule number two hundred seventy are: three dollars, five dollars, six dollars, ten dollars, twenty dollars, thirty dollars, fifty dollars, seventy-five dollars, one hundred fifty dollars, one thousand dollars, ten thousand dollars and thirty thousand dollars.
(3) Numbers, prize values and play symbols appearing on any ticket in a game rule number two hundred seventy shall be concealed by an opaque covering or tab covering which may be scratched off or removed by the holder of the ticket to reveal the underlying numbers, prize values and play symbols.
(a) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for three dollars once shall win a regular prize award of three dollars;
(b) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars once shall win a regular prize award of five dollars;
(c) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal two three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for three dollars two times shall win a regular prize award of six dollars;
(d) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for three dollars times two once shall win a regular prize award of six dollars;
(e) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for six dollars once shall win a regular prize award of six dollars;
(f) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal two three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for six dollars once and three dollars once shall win a regular prize award of nine dollars;
(g) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for three dollars times two once shall win a regular prize award of nine dollars;
(h) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for three dollars times three once shall win a regular prize award of nine dollars;
(i) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal three three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for three dollars three times shall win a regular prize award of nine dollars;
(j) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal two three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars two times shall win a regular prize award of ten dollars;
(k) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars times two once shall win a regular prize award of ten dollars;
(l) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars once shall win a regular prize award of ten dollars;
(m) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal three three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars two times and ten dollars once shall win a regular prize award of twenty dollars;
(n) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars times three once shall win a regular prize award of twenty dollars;
(o) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one six lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars times four once shall win a regular prize award of twenty dollars;
(p) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars times two once shall win a regular prize award of twenty dollars;
(q) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for twenty dollars once shall win a regular prize award of twenty dollars;
(r) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars once, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars times two once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars times three once shall win a regular prize award of thirty dollars;
(s) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars times two once shall win a regular prize award of thirty dollars;
(t) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal two five lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars times three two times shall win a regular prize award of thirty dollars;
(u) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars times three once shall win a regular prize award of thirty dollars;
(v) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for six dollars times two and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for six dollars times three once shall win a regular prize award of thirty dollars;
(w) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for thirty dollars once shall win a regular prize award of thirty dollars;
(x) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal five three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars five times, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars times two once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars times three once shall win a regular prize award of fifty dollars;
(y) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal five three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars five times shall win a regular prize award of fifty dollars;
(z) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars once, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars times two once, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars times three once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one six lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars times four once shall win a regular prize award of fifty dollars;
(aa) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for twenty dollars times two once shall win a regular prize award of fifty dollars;
(bb) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal three three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for thirty dollars once and ten dollars two times shall win a regular prize award of fifty dollars;
(cc) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for fifty dollars once shall win a regular prize award of fifty dollars;
(dd) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal four three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for three dollars four times, matching "Your Letters" to reveal four four lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for three dollars times two four times, matching "Your Letters" to reveal three five lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for three dollars times three three times and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one six lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for three dollars times four once shall win a regular prize award of seventy-five dollars;
(ee) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal four three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars four times, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars times three once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one six lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars times four once shall win a regular prize award of seventy-five dollars;
(ff) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal six three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for twenty dollars three times, ten dollars once and five dollars once shall win a regular prize award of seventy-five dollars;
(gg) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal two three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars once and five dollars once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal three four lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars times two three times shall win a regular prize award of seventy-five dollars;
(hh) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for twenty dollars times two once, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars times three once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one six lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for five dollars times four once shall win a regular prize award of seventy-five dollars;
(ii) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal two five lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for twenty dollars times three once and five dollars times three once shall win a regular prize award of seventy-five dollars;
(jj) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal three three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for fifty dollars once, twenty dollars once and five dollars once shall win a regular prize award of seventy-five dollars;
(kk) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for seventy-five dollars once shall win a regular prize award of seventy-five dollars;
(ll) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal five three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for six dollars three times and three dollars two times, matching "Your Letters" to reveal four four lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for six dollars times two four times, matching "Your Letters" to reveal three five lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for six dollars times three three times and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one six lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for six dollars times four once shall win a regular prize award of one hundred fifty dollars;
(mm) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal four three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars four times, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars times three once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one six lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for twenty dollars times four once shall win a regular prize award of one hundred fifty dollars;
(nn) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal five three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for thirty dollars five times shall win a regular prize award of one hundred fifty dollars;
(oo) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal two three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for twenty dollars once and ten dollars once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal three four lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for twenty dollars times two three times shall win a regular prize award of one hundred fifty dollars;
(pp) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for twenty dollars once, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for thirty dollars times two once, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars times three once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one six lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars times four once shall win a regular prize award of one hundred fifty dollars;
(qq) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal two five lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for thirty dollars times three once and twenty dollars times three once shall win a regular prize award of one hundred fifty dollars;
(rr) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for thirty dollars times two once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for thirty dollars times three once shall win a regular prize award of one hundred fifty dollars;
(ss) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for seventy-five dollars times two once shall win a regular prize award of one hundred fifty dollars;
(tt) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for fifty dollars times three once shall win a regular prize award of one hundred fifty dollars;
(uu) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for one hundred fifty dollars once shall win a regular prize award of one hundred fifty dollars;
(vv) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal five three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars four times and fifty dollars once, matching "Your Letters" to reveal four four lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars times two four times, matching "Your Letters" to reveal three five lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars times three three times and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one six lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars times four once shall win a regular prize award of three hundred dollars;
(ww) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal four three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for twenty dollars four times, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for twenty dollars times two once, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for twenty dollars times three once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one six lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for thirty dollars times four once shall win a regular prize award of three hundred dollars;
(xx) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal three three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for thirty dollars three times, matching "Your Letters" to reveal three four lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for thirty dollars times two three times and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for ten dollars times three once shall win a regular prize award of three hundred dollars;
(yy) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal two three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for fifty dollars two times, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for thirty dollars times two once, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for twenty dollars times three once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one six lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for twenty dollars times four once shall win a regular prize award of three hundred dollars;
(zz) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal two five lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for fifty dollars times three two times shall win a regular prize award of three hundred dollars;
(aaa) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one six lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for seventy-five dollars times four once shall win a regular prize award of three hundred dollars;
(bbb) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for one hundred fifty dollars times two once shall win a regular prize award of three hundred dollars;
(ccc) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal five three lettered "Words" in the "Your Words" play area for one hundred fifty dollars three times and fifty dollars two times and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for one hundred fifty dollars times three once shall win a regular prize award of one thousand dollars;
(ddd) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for seventy-five dollars once, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one four lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for fifty dollars times two once, matching "Your Letters" to reveal one five lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for seventy-five dollars times three once and matching "Your Letters" to reveal one six lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for one hundred fifty dollars times four once shall win a regular prize award of one thousand dollars;
(eee) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for one thousand dollars once shall win a regular prize award of one thousand dollars;
(fff) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for ten thousand dollars once shall win a regular prize award of ten thousand dollars; and
(ggg) Holder of a valid winning ticket matching "Your Letters" to reveal one three lettered "Word" in the "Your Words" play area for thirty thousand dollars once shall win a regular prize award of thirty thousand dollars.
(E) Number of prize awards. The number of prize awards in any sales cycle of game rule number two hundred seventy will depend upon the number of tickets sold during that cycle. Tickets shall be printed in accordance with this rule using random techniques in order that the following occur:
(1) Combinations winning each prize award are randomly distributed throughout the prize pool; and
(2) Mathematical reasoning indicates that the number of winning tickets per four million tickets sold in the following prize categories should be as follows:
(a) Fifteen tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(ggg) of this rule to win thirty thousand dollars;
(b) Twenty tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(fff) of this rule to win ten thousand dollars;
(c) Ten tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(eee) of this rule to win one thousand dollars;
(d) Ten tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(ddd) of this rule to win one thousand dollars;
(e) Ten tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(ccc) of this rule to win one thousand dollars;
(f) One hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(bbb) of this rule to win three hundred dollars;
(g) One hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(aaa) of this rule to win three hundred dollars;
(h) Two hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(zz) of this rule to win three hundred dollars;
(i) Two hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(yy) of this rule to win three hundred dollars;
(j) Two hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(xx) of this rule to win three hundred dollars;
(k) Two hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(ww) of this rule to win three hundred dollars;
(l) Four hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(vv) of this rule to win three hundred dollars;
(m) Two hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(uu) of this rule to win one hundred fifty dollars;
(n) Two hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(tt) of this rule to win one hundred fifty dollars;
(o) Two hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(ss) of this rule to win one hundred fifty dollars;
(p) Two hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(rr) of this rule to win one hundred fifty dollars;
(q) Two hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(qq) of this rule to win one hundred fifty dollars;
(r) Three hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(pp) of this rule to win one hundred fifty dollars;
(s) Two hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(oo) of this rule to win one hundred fifty dollars;
(t) Two hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(nn) of this rule to win one hundred fifty dollars;
(u) Two hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(mm) of this rule to win one hundred fifty dollars;
(v) Four hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(ll) of this rule to win one hundred fifty dollars;
(w) Four hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(kk) of this rule to win seventy-five dollars;
(x) Eight hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(jj) of this rule to win seventy-five dollars;
(y) Six hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(ii) of this rule to win seventy-five dollars;
(z) Six hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(hh) of this rule to win seventy-five dollars;
(aa) Eight hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(gg) of this rule to win seventy-five dollars;
(bb) Eight hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(ff) of this rule to win seventy-five dollars;
(cc) Six hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(ee) of this rule to win seventy-five dollars;
(dd) Eight hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(dd) of this rule to win seventy-five dollars;
(ee) Five hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(cc) of this rule to win fifty dollars;
(ff) One thousand five hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(bb) of this rule to win fifty dollars;
(gg) One thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(aa) of this rule to win fifty dollars;
(hh) One thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(z) of this rule to win fifty dollars;
(ii) Two thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(y) of this rule to win fifty dollars;
(jj) Two thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(x) of this rule to win fifty dollars;
(kk) Five hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(w) of this rule to win thirty dollars;
(ll) One thousand five hundred tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(v) of this rule to win thirty dollars;
(mm) One thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(u) of this rule to win thirty dollars;
(nn) One thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(t) of this rule to win thirty dollars;
(oo) Two thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(s) of this rule to win thirty dollars;
(pp) Two thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(r) of this rule to win thirty dollars;
(qq) Ten thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(q) of this rule to win twenty dollars;

(ss) Ten thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(o) of this rule to win twenty dollars;

(uu) Ten thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(m) of this rule to win twenty dollars;
(vv) Ten thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(l) of this rule to win ten dollars;
(ww) Ten thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(k) of this rule to win ten dollars;
(xx) Twenty thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(j) of this rule to win ten dollars;
(yy) Twenty thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(i) of this rule to win nine dollars;
(zz) Twenty thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(h) of this rule to win nine dollars;
(aaa) Twenty thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(g) of this rule to win nine dollars;
(bbb) Twenty thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(f) of this rule to win nine dollars;
(ccc) Forty thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(e) of this rule to win six dollars;
(ddd) Forty thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(d) of this rule to win six dollars;
(eee) Eighty thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(c) of this rule to win six dollars;
(fff) One hundred sixty thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(b) of this rule to win five dollars; and
(ggg) Five hundred sixty thousand tickets with the winning prize combination as set forth in paragraph (D)(2)(a) of this rule to win three dollars.
(F) Tickets sold. Chances of winning and the number of winning tickets are established at the start of the game number two hundred seventy and at the time a ticket is purchased.
(G) Frequency of prize drawings.
(1) Random imprinting of prize awards on all tickets issued in game rule number two hundred seventy shall be accomplished in a manner which complies with the commission's rules and procedures.
(2) When a ticket issued in game rule number two hundred seventy is sold or deemed sold in accordance with this rule, the holder shall be deemed to have drawn the prize values and play symbol on that ticket which determine whether the holder is entitled to a regular prize award. A regular prize award shall be deemed announced on the date a ticket is purchased.
(H) Special claim, entry, receipt and validation procedures. The director shall establish special claim, entry, receipt and validation procedures, including procedures for validation by sales agents of tickets winning prize awards which are to be paid by sales agents in accordance with commission rules. Prize awards shall be claimed within the time limits set forth by commission rules.
(I) Validity of tickets.
(1) A mechanical error in printing prize awards, symbols, words or other numbers on a ticket shall not automatically invalidate that ticket. To the extent feasible, the director shall establish procedures by which the holder of any ticket on which information is incorrectly printed due to mechanical malfunction may be advised of correct information for the ticket. If it is not technically feasible to recover the information from a mechanically misprinted ticket, the director may declare the ticket void and the holder shall be entitled to a return of the ticket price or a replacement ticket of comparable price.
(2) In addition to, but not in limitation of, all other power and authority conferred on the director by the commission's rules, the director may declare a ticket in game rule number two hundred seventy void if it is stolen, unissued not sold or deemed not sold in accordance with commission rules; if it is illegible, mutilated, altered, counterfeit, reconstituted, miscut, defective, printed or produced in error or incomplete; or if the ticket fails any of the validation tests or procedures established by the director. The commission's liability and responsibility for a ticket declared void, if any, is limited to refund of the retail sales price of the ticket or issuance of a replacement ticket of comparable price.
(J) Director's conduct of game rule number two hundred seventy.
(1) The director shall conduct game rule number two hundred seventy in a manner consistent with the Lottery Act and the rules of the commission including, without limitation, this rule and the regulations of the director. As deemed necessary or advisable, the director shall adopt management regulations, orders or directives to implement and operate this lottery game. The director shall inform the public of the provisions of this rule and the procedures established pursuant hereto which affect the play of game rule number two hundred seventy. The director reserves the right to declare any game as unavailable for sale at any time to maintain game integrity and accountability.
(2) Names and definitions of elements of game rule number two hundred seventy used in this rule are to be considered generic terms used solely for purposes of this rule. In actual operation, game rule number two hundred seventy and these elements may be given names or titles chosen by the commission.
