4709-3-08. Assistant barber teacher

(A) An individual seeking a license as an assistant barber teacher shall submit an application, on forms developed by the board, along with any required application fee(s).

(B) The board may grant licensure as an assistant barber teacher to an applicant who meets the following criteria:

(1) Is at least eighteen years of age;

(2) Is of good moral character; and

(3) Holds a current, active Ohio barber license.

(C) An individual who meets the qualifications of this rule may be employed as an assistant teacher if, within five days of the commencement of the employment, the barber school submits, on forms developed by the board, the applicant's qualifications.
