4713-7-12. Barber teacher training program

Latest version.

(A) In addition to the requirements set forth in division (C) of section 4709.10 of the Revised Code, an applicant for a barber teacher license shall complete a board-approved barber teacher training program, either as a stand-alone program or as part of an individual's assistant barber teacher program, that meets the following requirements:
(1) The program shall consist of not less than five hundred clock hours of training; and

(2) The program curriculum shall comply with all requirements established by the board.

(B) Each applicant for a barber teacher license must provide proof of successful completion of a board-approved barber teacher training program as part of their application to take the board's barber teacher license examination.
