    The rule is being amended to change the fees for group facility rental at selected state parks.

    The rule establishes fees for rental of group facilities in Ohio state parks. The changes being proposed are:

    Paragraph (B)- Increase fee for rental of Lake Hope Laurel lodge and Pike lake group lodge.

    Paragraph (C)- Increase rental fees for Malabar Pugh cabin and change the hours and increase the fee for the Big House; increase fees for Cowan lake meeting room; delete the fee for Burr Oak marina meeting room; increase the fee for Shawnee marina meeting room.

    Paragraph (D)- Increase the fee for John Bryan day lodge and for Caesar Creek day lodge.

    Paragraph (F)- Increase the fee for shelter rentals at eight parks. Paragraph (G)- Increase the fee for Tar Hollow shelter camps.

    Paragraph (K)- Create a new fee for rental of a picnic area at Maumee Bay.

    Paragraph (L) - Moves the group camp facilities from 1501:41-2-11 to this rule and changes the fees at thirteen parks areas.

    This will increase revenues.

    $31,500

    The proposed rule is projected to increase revenue by $31,500 in the current biennium. Revenue receipts for state parks are below original projections and the increases being proposed will help with cash flow. Of this proposed increase,

    $29,000 is the result of moving the group camp facilities fees from 1501:41-2-11 to 1501:41-2-14.

    15.  Provide a summary of the estimated cost of compliance with the rule to all directly affected persons. When appropriate, please include the source for your information/estimated costs, e.g. industry, CFR, internal/agency:

    Persons renting overnight group facilities will pay between $115 to $390 per night.

    Persons renting group meeting rooms will pay between $15 for four hours at Quail Hollow to $400 for one hour at Malabar Farm. Persons renting day use group lodges will pay $50 to $170 per day. Persons renting group camp facilities will $50 to $100. Persons renting shelterhouses will pay between $25 to $225. Persons renting Tar Hollow shelter camps will pay $45 to $50 per night. Persons renting the Mt. Gilead gazebo or amphitheater will pay $40 for the gazebo and $50 for the amphitheater. Persons renting group tents will pay $50 to $75 per day. Persons renting the horse arena at Hueston Woods will pay between $2 per person to $50 per group. Persons renting a picnic area at Maumee will pay $25 per day. Persons renting group camp facilities will pay between $.50 to $100 per night.
