(A)  Any sampling or testing of gasoline required by this chapter shall be accomplished as follows:

 

(1)   Sampling of gasoline for the purpose of determining compliance with paragraph

(A)  of rule 3745-72-03 of the Administrative Code, except as provided in rule 3745-72-07 of the Administrative Code, shall be conducted in accordance with 40 CFR 80.46 the Code of Federal Regulations, Volume 40, Part 80, appendix D.

 

(2)   Testing of gasoline for the purpose of determining compliance with paragraph

(A)  of rule 3745-72-03 of the Administrative Code, except as provided in rule 3745-72-07 of the Administrative Code, shall be conducted in accordance with 40 CFR 80.8the Code of Federal Regulations, Volume 40, Part 80, appendix E. The R.V.P. value determined by such testing for the purpose of verifying compliance with this chapter shall not exceed 0.3 P.S.I. above the allowable value of 7.8 P.S.I. for the low R.V.P. gasoline or 8.8 P.S.I. for the gasoline which meets the requirements of rule 3745-72-07 of the Administrative Code.

 

(3)    Alternative sampling or test methods may be used if approved in advance in writing by the Ohio environmental protection agency and the United States environmental protection agency.
