3770:1-9-596               Game rule number five hundred ninety-six.

 

 

 

(A)Title and term. Ohio lottery commission game rule number five hundred ninety-six, "Joker's Wild," shall be conducted at such times and for such periods as the commission may determine. For the purpose of this rule, "sales cycle" shall mean any such period, including reprints, beginning on the date when sales are commenced and continuing through the date established by the director as the date on which sales agents are to make final settlement with respect to tickets allocated to them during the period in game rule number five hundred ninety-six.

 

(B)General Design.

 

(1)Game rule number five hundred ninety-six is a card style game and is generally known as an "instant lottery."

 

(2)Holders of valid tickets will remove the covering of the entire play area to reveal five "Your Cards" in each "Hand" ("1st Hand" - "6th Hand"). The play symbols that may be revealed include "2-Two," "3-Thr," "4-For," "5-Fiv," "6-Six," "7-Svn," "8-Egt," "9-Nin," "10-Ten," "J-Jck," "Q-Qun, "K-Kng, "A-Ace," and "Joker-Jkr." In each "Hand," if two of "Your Cards" play symbols match ("two of a kind"), the player wins the corresponding prize value revealed in the "Prize" box for that "Hand." In each "Hand," if three of "Your Cards" play symbols match ("three of a kind"), the player wins double (two times) the corresponding prize value revealed in the "Prize" box for that "Hand." In each "Hand," if four of "Your Cards" play symbols match ("four of a kind"), the player wins four times the corresponding prize value revealed in the "Prize" box for that "Hand." If a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in any one of "Your Cards" in any one "Hand," the "Joker" play symbol ("wild card") may be used to match one or more of "Your Cards" play symbols to reveal "two of a kind," "three of a kind" or "four of a kind" and win the corresponding prize value revealed in the "Prize" box for that "Hand" with any multiplying feature. A player may win up to six times on one ticket.

 

(3)As used in this rule, "prize award" shall mean one of the following monetary figures which is the total of all winning prize values appearing on the ticket: two dollars, three dollars, five dollars, ten dollars, twenty dollars, fifty dollars, one hundred dollars, two hundred fifty dollars, one thousand dollars, and ten thousand dollars. Each ticket in game rule five hundred ninety-six shall be imprinted in such a way that prize awards from the set listed above may be won.

 

(C)Price of the tickets. The price of the ticket issued by the commission in game rule number five hundred ninety-six shall be two dollars.

 

(D)Structure, nature and value of prize awards.

 

(1)There shall be one type of prize in game rule number five hundred ninety-six, a

 

 

 

"regular prize award."

(2) The only "prize values" which shall appear on a ticket in game rule number five hundred ninety-six are one dollar, two dollars, three dollars, five dollars, ten dollars, twenty dollars, fifty dollars, one hundred dollars, two hundred fifty dollars, one thousand dollars, and ten thousand dollars. Prize values and play symbols appearing on any ticket in game rule five hundred ninety-six shall be concealed by opaque covering which may be scratched off by the holder of the ticket to reveal the underlying prize values and play symbols.

(a) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which three of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "three of a kind" or if two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match and a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in that "Hand" for "three of a kind" for one dollar two times shall win a regular prize of two dollars;

(b) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for two dollars shall win a regular prize of two dollars;

(c) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for one dollar, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for one dollar, and on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a third "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for one dollar, shall win a regular prize of three dollars;

(d)Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for one dollar, and on which three of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "three of a kind" or if two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match and in that "Hand" a "Joker" play symbol is revealed for "three of a kind" for one dollar two times, shall win a regular prize of three dollars;

(e) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for three dollars shall win a regular prize of three dollars;

(f)Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play

symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for one dollar, and on which three of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "three of a kind" or if two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match and in that "Hand" a "Joker" play symbol is revealed for "three of a kind" for two dollars two times, shall win a regular prize of five dollars;

(g) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for one dollar, and on which four of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "four of a kind" or three of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match and in that "Hand" a "Joker" play symbol is revealed for "four of a kind" for one dollar four times, shall win a regular prize of five dollars;

(h) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for five dollars shall win a regular prize of five dollars;

(i) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for one dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a second "Hand" for "two of a kind" for one dollar, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a third "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a third "Hand" for "two of a kind" for one dollar, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a fourth "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a fourth "Hand" for "two of a kind" for one dollar, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a fifth "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a fifth "Hand" for "two of a kind" for one dollar, and on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a sixth "Hand" match each for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a sixth "Hand" for "two of a kind" for five dollars, shall win a regular prize of ten dollars;

(j) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for two dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a second "Hand" for "two of a kind" for two dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play

symbols in a third "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a "third" Hand for "two of a kind" for two dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a fourth "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a fourth "Hand" for "two of a kind" for two dollars, and on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a fifth "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a fifth "Hand" for "two of a kind" for two dollars, shall win a regular prize of ten dollars;

(k) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which three of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "three of a kind" or if two of "Your Cards" play symbols within one "Hand" match and a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in that "Hand" for "three of a kind" for five dollars two times shall win a regular prize of ten dollars;

(l) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for one dollar, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a second "Hand" for "two of a kind" for one dollar, and on which four of "Your Cards" play symbols match for "four of a kind" or three of "Your Cards" play symbols in a third "Hand" match and a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in that "Hand" for "four of a kind" for two dollars four times, shall win a regular prize of ten dollars;

(m) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for five dollars, and on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a second "Hand" for "two of a kind" for five dollars, shall win a regular prize of ten dollars;

(n) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for ten dollars shall win a regular prize of ten dollars;

(o) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for two dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a second "Hand" for "two of a kind" for two dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a third "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker"

(p) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which three of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "three of a kind" or if two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match and a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in that "Hand" for "three of a kind" for ten dollars two times shall win a regular prize of twenty dollars;

(q) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which four of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "four of a kind" or if three of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match and a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in that "Hand" for "four of a kind" for five dollars four times shall win a regular prize of twenty dollars;

(r) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for twenty dollars shall win a regular prize of twenty dollars;

(s) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for ten dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a second "Hand" for "two of a kind" for ten dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a third "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a third "Hand" for "two of a kind" for ten dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a fourth "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a fourth "Hand" for "two of a kind" for ten dollars, and on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a fifth "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a fifth "Hand" for "two of a kind" for ten dollars, shall win a regular prize of fifty dollars;

(t)Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for ten dollars,

and on which three of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "three of a kind" or if two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match and a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in that "Hand" for "three of a kind" for twenty dollars two times, shall win a regular prize of fifty dollars;

(u) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for ten dollars, and on which four of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "four of a kind" or if three of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match and a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in that "Hand" for "four of a kind" for ten dollars four times, shall win a regular prize of fifty dollars;

(v) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for five dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a second "Hand" for "two of a kind" for five dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a third "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a third "Hand" for "two of a kind" for twenty dollars, and on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a fourth "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a fourth "Hand" for "two of a kind" for twenty dollars, shall win a regular prize of fifty dollars;

(w)Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for fifty dollars shall win a regular prize of fifty dollars;

(x) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for twenty dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a second "Hand" for "two of a kind" for twenty dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a third "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a third "Hand" for "two of a kind" for twenty dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a fourth "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a fourth "Hand" for "two of a kind" for twenty dollars, and on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a fifth "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a fifth "Hand"

for "two of a kind" for twenty dollars, shall win a regular prize of one hundred dollars;

(y) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which three of "Your Cards" play symbols within one "Hand" match for "three of a kind" or if two of "Your Cards" play symbols within one "Hand" match and a "Joker" play symbol is revealed for "three of a kind" for fifty dollars two times shall win a regular prize of one hundred dollars;

(z) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for ten dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a second "Hand" for "two of a kind" for ten dollars, and on which four of "Your Cards" play symbols match for "four of a kind" or three of "Your Cards" play symbols in a third "Hand" match and a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in that "Hand" for "four of a kind" for twenty dollars four times, shall win a regular prize of one hundred dollars;

(aa) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for fifty dollars, and on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a second "Hand" for "two of a kind" for fifty dollars, shall win a regular prize of one hundred dollars;

(bb) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for one hundred dollars shall win a regular prize of one hundred dollars;

(cc) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for fifty dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a second "Hand" for "two of a kind" for fifty dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a third "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a third "Hand" for "two of a kind" for fifty dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a fourth "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a fourth "Hand" for "two of a kind" for fifty dollars, and on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a fifth "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a fifth "Hand" for "two of

a kind" for fifty dollars, shall win a regular prize of two hundred fifty dollars;

(dd) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for fifty dollars, and on which three of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "three of a kind" or if two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match and a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in that "Hand" for "three of a kind" for one hundred dollars two times, shall win a regular prize of two hundred fifty dollars;

(ee) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for one hundred dollars shall win a regular prize of two hundred fifty dollars;

(ff) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which four of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "four of a kind" or if three of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match and a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in that "Hand" for "four of a kind" for two hundred fifty dollars four times shall win a regular prize of one thousand dollars;

(gg) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for two hundred fifty dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a second "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a second "Hand" for "two of a kind" for two hundred fifty dollars, on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a third "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a third "Hand" for "two of a kind" for two hundred fifty dollars, and on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in a fourth "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in a fourth "Hand" for "two of a kind" for two hundred fifty dollars, shall win a regular prize of one thousand dollars;

(hh) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for one thousand dollars shall win a regular prize of one thousand dollars; and

(ii) Holder of a valid winning ticket on which two of "Your Cards" play symbols in one "Hand" match for "two of a kind" or a "Joker" play symbol is revealed in one "Hand" for "two of a kind" for ten thousand dollars shall win a regular prize of ten thousand dollars.

(E) Number of prize awards. The number of prize awards in any sales cycle of game rule five hundred ninety-six will depend upon the number of tickets sold during the cycle. However, distribution and availability for public purchase may be affected by, but not limited to, circumstances such as stolen, defective, missing, damaged, promotional, returned or reordered tickets. Tickets shall be printed in accordance with this rule using random techniques in order that the following occur:

(1) Combinations winning each prize award are randomly distributed throughout all tickets printed in any given ticket issuance;

(2) Mathematical reasoning indicates that the number of winning tickets per six million tickets sold in the following prize categories should be as follows:

(a) Twenty-eight tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for ten thousand dollars to win ten thousand dollars.

(3) Mathematical reasoning indicates that over a sufficiently large number of tickets sold, the average number of winning tickets per two hundred thousand tickets sold should be as follows:

(a) Two tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for one thousand dollars to win one thousand dollars;

(b) Two tickets matching "two of a kind" in each of four "Hands" for two hundred fifty dollars for each "Hand" to win one thousand dollars;

(c) Three tickets matching "four of a kind" in one "Hand" for two hundred fifty dollars four times to win one thousand dollars;

(d)Ten tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for two hundred fifty dollars to win two hundred fifty dollars;

(e) Forty tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for fifty dollars and matching "three of a kind" in one "Hand" for one hundred dollars two times to win two hundred fifty dollars;

(f)Ten tickets matching "two of a kind" in each of five "Hands" for fifty dollars for each "Hand" to win two hundred fifty dollars;

(g) Fifteen tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for one hundred dollars to win one hundred dollars;

(h) Fifteen tickets matching "two of a kind" in two "Hands" for fifty dollars for each "Hand" to win one hundred dollars;

(i) Fifty tickets matching "two of a kind" in two "Hands" for ten dollars for

each "Hand" and matching "four of a kind" in one "Hand" for twenty dollars four times to win one hundred dollars;

(j) Fifty tickets matching "three of a kind" in one "Hand" for fifty dollars two times to win one hundred dollars;

(k) Fifty tickets matching "two of a kind" in each of five "Hands" for twenty dollars for each "Hand" to win one hundred dollars;

(l) One hundred tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for fifty dollars to win fifty dollars;

(m) One hundred tickets matching "two of a kind" in each of two "Hands" for five dollars for each "Hand" and matching "two of a kind" in each of two "Hands" for twenty dollars for each "Hands" to win fifty dollars;

(n) One hundred tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for ten dollars and matching "four of a kind" in one "Hand" for ten dollars four times to win fifty dollars;

(o) One hundred tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for ten dollars and matching "three of a kind" in one "Hand" for twenty dollars two times to win fifty dollars;

(p) One hundred tickets matching "two of a kind" in each of five "Hands" for ten dollars for each "Hand" to win fifty dollars;

(q) Five hundred tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for twenty dollars to win twenty dollars;

(r) Five hundred tickets matching "four of a kind" in one "Hand" for five dollars four times to win twenty dollars;

(s) Five hundred tickets matching "three of a kind" in one "Hand" for ten dollars two times to win twenty dollars;

(t)Five hundred tickets matching "two of a kind" in each of five "Hands" for two dollars and matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for ten dollars to win twenty dollars;

(u) Five hundred tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for ten dollars to win ten dollars;

(v) Five hundred tickets matching "two of a kind" in each of two "Hands" for five dollars for each "Hand" to win ten dollars;

(w)One thousand tickets matching "two of a kind" in each of two "Hands"

for one dollar for each "Hand" and matching "four of a kind" for two dollars four times to win ten dollars;

(x) One thousand tickets matching "three of a kind" in one "Hand" for five dollars two times to win ten dollars;

(y) Five hundred tickets matching "two of a kind" in each of five "Hands" for two dollars for each "Hand" to win ten dollars;

(z) Five hundred tickets matching "two of a kind" in each of five "Hands" for one dollar for each "Hand" and matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for five dollars to win ten dollars;

(aa) One thousand tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for five dollars to win five dollars;

(bb) One thousand tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for one dollar and matching "four of a kind" in one "Hand" for one dollar four times to win five dollars;

(cc) Two thousand tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for one dollar and matching "three of a kind" in one "Hand" for two dollars two times to win five dollars;

(dd) Four thousand tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for three dollars to win three dollars;

(ee) Six thousand tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for one dollar and matching "three of a kind" in one "Hand" for one dollar two times to win three dollars;

(ff) Eight thousand tickets matching "two of a kind" in each of three "Hands" for one dollar for each "Hand" to win three dollars;

(gg) Eight thousand tickets matching "two of a kind" in one "Hand" for two dollars to win two dollars; and

(hh) Eight thousand tickets matching "three of a kind" in one "Hand" for one dollar two times to win two dollars.

(F) Tickets sold. Chances of winning and the number of winning tickets are established at the time of printing and will change as prizes are won.

(G)Frequency of prize drawings.

(1) Random imprinting of prize awards on all tickets issued in game rule number five hundred ninety-six shall be accomplished in a manner which complies

with the commission's rules and procedures.

(2) When a ticket issued in game rule number five hundred ninety-six is sold or deemed sold in accordance with this rule and the covering material over any of the numbers, prize values and play symbols has been removed, the holder shall be deemed to have drawn the numbers, prize values and play symbols on that ticket which determine whether the holder is entitled to a regular prize award. All regular prize awards shall be deemed announced no later than the last day of the sales cycle of game rule number five hundred ninety-six in which the ticket was sold.

(H) Special claim, entry, receipt and validation procedures. The director shall establish special claim, entry, receipt and validation procedures, including procedures for validation by sales agents of tickets winning prize awards which are to be paid by sales agents in accordance with commission rules. Prize awards shall be claimed within the time limits set forth by commission rules.

(I)Validity of tickets.

(1) A mechanical error in printing prize awards, symbols, words or other numbers on a ticket shall not automatically invalidate that ticket. To the extent feasible, the director shall establish procedures by which the holder of any ticket on which information is incorrectly printed due to mechanical malfunction may be advised of correct information for the ticket. If it is not technically feasible to recover the information from a mechanically misprinted ticket, the director may declare the ticket void and the holder shall be entitled to a return of the ticket price or a replacement ticket of comparable price.

(2) In addition to, but not in limitation of, all other power and authority conferred on the director by the commission's rules, the director may declare a ticket in game rule number five hundred ninety-six void if it is stolen, unissued, deactivated, not sold or deemed not sold in accordance with commission rules; if it is illegible, mutilated, altered, counterfeit, misregistered, reconstituted, miscut, defective, printed or produced in error or incomplete; or if the ticket fails any of the validation tests or procedures established by the director. The commission's liability and responsibility for a ticket declared void, if any, is limited to refund of the retail sales price of the ticket or issuance of a replacement ticket of comparable price.

(J) Director's conduct of game rule five hundred ninety-six.

(1) The director shall conduct game rule number five hundred ninety-six in a manner consistent with the Lottery Act and the rules of the commission including, without limitation, this rule and the regulations of the director. As deemed  necessary  or  advisable,  the  director  shall  adopt  management

regulations, orders or directives to implement and operate this lottery game. The director shall inform the public of the provisions of this rule and the procedures established pursuant hereto which affect the play of game rule number five hundred ninety-six. The director reserves the right to declare any instant game as unavailable for sale at any time to maintain game integrity and accountability.

(2) Names and definitions of elements of game rule number five hundred ninety-six used in this rule are to be considered generic terms used solely for purposes of this rule. In actual operation, game rule number five hundred ninety-six and these elements may be given names or titles chosen by the commission.
