STATE OF OHIO DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES

 

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO AMEND AND HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON RULES CONCERNING BOATING ACCIDENT REPORTS AND WATERCRAFT REGISTRATION

 

 

The Chief of the Division of Parks & Watercraft, pursuant to Section 1546.04 of the Ohio Revised Code, hereby gives notice of intention to amend the following rules:

 

1501:47-1-02   Registration certificate.

1501:47-1-09   Boating accidents.

 

Administrative rules 1501:47-1-02 and 1501:47-1-09 are being amended to adopt new and revised terminology as required by the United States Coast Guard.

 

A public hearing on the proposed amendments of these rules will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2016 in the E-1 Assembly Center of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources located at 2045 Morse Road in Columbus, Ohio. At the public hearing, any person affected by the rule amendments may appear and be heard in person, or by an attorney, or both, and may present testimony, orally or in writing, and present evidence tending to show that these rules, if amended as proposed, will be unreasonable or unlawful.
