NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., in Room 1, 2nd Floor, 30 West Spring Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215, to consider the following:

 

Rescission and adoption of the following rule for the purpose as shown below:

 

4123-6-22       Stakeholders' Health Care Quality Assurance Advisory Committee.

 

The purpose of the new rule is to align the focus of this medical advisory committee with recent organizational changes within BWC. The main organizational change that has taken place is the creation of a chief medical officer who is responsible for improving working relationships with health care professionals that do business with BWC and overseeing the committees of those medical professionals that provide advice and guidance on medical issues. In addition, there was a need to ensure that all rule revisions would be consistent in style and format to enhance readability. Otherwise, no other changes are requested of the original rule.

All interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard. Any interested party unable to attend the public hearing may submit written comments to the undersigned prior to the public hearing.
