    LEGAL NOTICE

     

    The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Natural Areas and Preserves Recreation, pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Procedures Act and Sections 1517.02 and 1518.01 of the Revised Code hereby declares intent to amend administrative rules pertaining to: notice of public hearings, hunting and fishing prohibitions on natural areas and preserves, and plants species that are endangered or threatened.

    For such purpose the Division of Natural Areas and Preserves will conduct a public hearing on said proposals on November 7, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Assembly Center, 2045 Morse Road, Building E (first floor), Columbus, Ohio 43229. At the public hearing, any person affected by the rule changes may appear and be heard in person, or by an attorney, or both, and may present testimony, orally or in writing, offer and examine witnesses, and present evidence tending to show that the rules if adopted will be unreasonable or unlawful.

    Such rules are necessary and appropriate for proper management and control of lands and waters administered by the Division of Natural Areas and Preserves and for the protection of the health, safety and welfare of the public.
