    NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

    A public hearing will be held by the Ohio Department of Agriculture on December 7, 2015 at 10 a.m., in Room 133, in the Bromfield Administration Building, located at 8995 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. The purpose of the hearing is to solicit public comment on the following proposed rules:

     

    901-15-1  , titled "Agreement for the performance of laboratory services," outlines the application process for anyone seeking laboratory services provided by or through ODA and provides reference to ODA's website for a complete listing of laboratory services and associated fees.

    901-15-2  , titled "Services performed by the consumer protection laboratory," is being rescinded since the laboratory services performed by the consumer protection laboratory are published on ODA's website.

    901-15-3  , titled "Services performed by the division of plant health," is being rescinded since the laboratory services performed by the division of plant health are published on ODA's website.

    901-15-4  , titled "Rates for laboratory services performed by the division of weights and measures" and 901-15-04.1, titled "Rates for type evaluation," are being rescinded since the laboratory services performed by the division of weights and measures are published on ODA's website.

    901-15-5  , titled "Services performed by the division of animal health," is being rescinded since the laboratory services performed by the division of animal health are published on ODA's website.

    All interested parties are invited to attend the hearing and present oral and/or written testimony. Written comments may also be submitted to the attention of Hannah Smith-Carr, Senior Staff Counsel, Ohio Department of Agriculture, 8995 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068, or via email at ecomments@agri.ohio.gov, or via transmitting by facsimile at (614) 995-4585. Written comments sent by mail shall be postmarked no later than the day of the hearing. Written comments transmitted by facsimile shall be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing.
