Pursuant to Sections 5107.05, 5107.76 and Chapter 119. of the Ohio Revised Code, the Director of the Department of Job and Family Services gives notice of the department's intent to amend a rule pertaining to the Ohio Works First program on a permanent basis and of a public hearing thereon.

 

The following rule is being proposed for amendment:

 

Rule 5101:1-23-70 entitled Ohio works first (OWF): erroneous payments. This rule sets forth the policy regarding the identification, calculation and recovery of erroneous OWF payments.

 

A copy of the proposed rule is available, without charge, to any person affected by them at the address listed below. These rules are available on the internet at http://www.registerofohio.state.oh.us/. A public hearing on the proposed rules will be held on 12/18/08 at 10:00 AM until all testimony is heard in Tower conference room, 1st Floor, Rhodes State Office Tower, 30 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio. Either written or verbal testimony on these rules will be taken at the public hearing. Additionally, written comments submitted or postmarked no later than 12/18/08 will be treated as testimony.
