111-5-20                      Amendments.

 

 

 

(A) The secretary of state or the board of elections shall examine all statements required to be filed under sections 3517.081 to 3517.17 of the Revised Code for compliance with sections 3517.08 to 3517.17 of the Revised Code. If during the examination conducted under section 3517.11(B)(4), the statement is found to be incomplete or inaccurate, a notice shall be sent by certified mail to the committee or entity that filed the statement detailing the items that are incomplete or inaccurate. Within twenty-one days after the receipt of the notice, the recipient shall file an addendum, amendment or other correction to the statement providing the information necessary to complete or correct the statement.
