    In an effort to make the campground program self-sustaining and less reliant on general revenue funds, the Public Health Council is proposing to amend this rule to increase fees charged for annual licenses.

    This rule provides requirements and procedures for obtaining a license to operate a recreation vehicle park, recreation camp, combined park-camp or temporary

    park-camp. The rule also provides a schedule of required inspections by the licensor; and the amounts to be collected with each license by local health districts to be transmitted to ODH. Amendments proposed by the Public Health Council will increase fees charged for the annual campground license.

    This rule references sections of the Ohio Revised and Administrative Codes. The

    O.R.C. and O.A.C. are generally available in libraries and on the internet to persons who reasonably can be expected to be affected by the rule.

    FISCAL ANALYSIS

    13.  Estimate the total amount by which this proposed rule would increase/ decrease either revenues /expenditures for the agency during the current biennium (in dollars): Explain the net impact of the proposed changes to the budget of your agency/department.

    This will increase expenditures.

    $51,355

    This proposed rule change will increase the annual license fee for campgrounds. Over the biennium, the proposed increase will generate approximately $51,355 in additional revenues. Added to current revenues of $94,000, proposed increases will bring license fee revenues to approximately $145,770, and will reduce the program's reliance on GRF support.

    The proposed amendments increase the annual campground license fee from $85 to

    $135 for camps with fewer than 50 lots, and from $110 to $165 for camps with more than 50 lots.
