    PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

    OHIO DEPARTMENT OF JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES

    Pursuant to sections 119.03, 5103.03 and 5103.0316 of the Ohio Revised Code, the director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services gives notice of the department's intent to consider the amended rule as identified below and of a public hearing thereon. The Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) rules governing the Children Services licensing rules has been revised as a result of the five year rule review and Executive Order 2009-13s.

     

    OAC 5101:2-5-13 Required agency policies, plans and procedures outlines the requirements agencies are to have in their policies, plans and procedures. This rule has been amended to prohibit prone restraints for an extended period of time, to provide guidance on transitional holds and to eliminate repetitive agency policy requirements. This rule was also amended for clarity.

     

    A copy of the proposed rule is available, without charge, to any person affected by the rule at the address listed below. The rule is also available on the internet at  http://www.registerofohio.state.oh.us/. A public hearing on the proposed rule will be held at eh date, time, and location listed at the top of this letter. Either written or oral testimony will be taken at the public hearing. Additionally, written comments submitted or postmarked no later than the date of the public hearing will be treated as testimony.
