    ODH has completed the five-year review of this rule, and is proposing to amend it with updates.

    This rule sets forth the procedure under which a nursing facility submits a plan of

    correction for findings and deficiencies cited as the result of a survey by the Department of Health. The rule also sets forth the procedure for a facility to obtain informal review of deficiencies that were included on a statement of deficiencies. ODH is proposing to amend the rule to clarify a citation by adding a copyright date; and to substitute the "bureau of enforcement" and the "department's central office" with the "bureau of regulatory compliance."

    This rule references sections of the Ohio Revised Code (O.R.C.); and a section of the United States Code (U.S.C.). Both the O.R.C. and the U.S.C. are generally available in libraries and on the internet to persons who reasonably can be expected to be affected by the rule.

    This rule is being revise-filed to correct a typo in the statutory authority in the ending material following the rule. The authority was corrected to say R.C.

    3701.022.
