    PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

    OHIO DEPARTMENT OF JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES DATE: March 22, 2005

    TIME: 10:00 a.m.

    LOCATION: Room 1823, Rhodes State Office Tower 30 East Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43215

     

    Pursuant to sections 5101.49, 5107.05, 5115.05 and Chapter 119. of the Ohio Revised Code, the director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services gives notice of the department's intent to consider the adoption and rescission of the rules as identified below and of a public hearing thereon.

     

    Rule 5101:1-2-01, entitled: Applications and the application process for OWF, DA, and  RRP, is being proposed for rescission due to the five-year rule review. This rule sets forth the application process and the applications used for the OWF, DFA, and RCA cash programs. It is being replaced by new rule 5101:1-2-01.

     

    Rule 5101:1-2-01, entitled: The application process for Ohio works first (OWF),  disability financial assistance (DFA), and refugee cash assistance (RCA), is being proposed for adoption because of the five-year rule review. This rule sets forth the application process with the new worksheet and combines all application processing language within one rule. It replaces former rule 5101:1-2-01.

     

    Rule 5101:1-2-10, entitled: OWF/DA/RRP: the determination of eligibility for  applications and reapplications, is being proposed for rescission due to the five-year rule review. This rule sets forth some application eligibility criteria and the reapplication process. It is being replaced by new rule 5101:1-2-10.

     

    Rule 5101:1-2-10, entitled: Ohio works first (OWF)/disability financial assistance (DFA)/refugee cash assistance (RCA): the reapplication requirement, is being proposed for adoption because of the five-year rule review. This rule sets forth the reapplication process. It replaces former rule 5101:1-2-10.

     

    A copy of the proposed rules is available, without charge, to any person affected by the rules at the address listed below. The rules are also available on the internet at http://www.registerofohio.state.oh.us/. A public hearing on the proposed rules will be held at the date, time, and location listed at the top of this notice. Either written or oral testimony will be taken at the public hearing. Additionally, written comments submitted or postmarked no later than the date of the public hearing will be treated as testimony.
