    901-19-33                    Prohibited grooming practices.

     

     

    This is an optional rule.

     

    The following grooming practices are prohibited in market classes, and non-breed shows or classes, and breed shows or classes unless those grooming practices are permitted under rule 901-19-32:

     

    (A)   Using any substance to enhance or change the color of the livestock, including the livestock's hide or hooves;

     

    (B)      Adding any substance externally to build up, change or alter the shape or conformation of the livestock, including by way of example but not limited to rope, false hair, graphite, hemp, and powders;

     

    (C)  Pigmented grooming aides or materials.

     

    (D)   Slick clipping or body shaving of market hogs except on the ears and tails , tail and underline.
