3745-1-06 Mixing zones.
(A) Non-thermal. Pursuant
(1)Pursuantto Chapter 3745-2 of the Administrative Code, where necessary to attain or maintain the use designated for a surface water by these water quality standards, the director may establish, as a term of a discharge permit issued pursuant to Chapter 3745-33 of the Administrative Code or a permit to install issued pursuant to Chapter3745-313745-42 of the Administrative Code, a mixing zone applicable to the non-thermal constituents of the point source discharge authorized by such permit.(2)For lakes and reservoirs (except lake Erie) defined as state resource waters byrule 3745-1-05 of the Administrative Code, no mixing zone shall bepermitted.(B) Thermal.
