This rule establishes the bag limits, designated seasons, areas, hours and acceptable methods of taking migratory game birds.
The US Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) has the highest authority regarding migratory game bird hunting regulations. Each year the USFWS must give final approval to each state's migratory game bird seasons and regulations.
These rules fall within the established USFWS federal framework.

Changes were made to correct the hunting season dates for the upcoming
2016-2017 hunting seasons. No changes were made to time, species, bag limits, or methods.

A typographical error was corrected in Paragraph B. The original filing had a starting date for dove season as December 15, it was corrected to December 17.
