    Only individual students are impacted by this rule. Students would lose whatever hours were over five years old and have to make them up. THe cost to the student would vary depending on the number of hours earned and the cost of the additional hours to be made up. Assuming they completed school and never applied for an examination prior to the five years they would have to pay for a complete retake of the course. Depending on the school the cost would be $5,000 to $11,000.
