Notice of Public Hearing

Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services

 

Pursuant to Section 119.03 of the Ohio Revised Code, notices hereby given that the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services intends to conduct a public hearing.

 

The following rules are being proposed for revision:

OAC 3793:4-1-01 Driver Intervention Program Certification Process OAC 3793:4-1-02 Driver Intervention Program Requirements

 

The Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS) has conducted a five year rule review as required by R.C. 119.032.  ODADAS has determined that the following rules should be amended to aid in the purpose, scope, and intent of the statute under which the rules were adopted.:

 

OAC 3793:4-1-01 is being amended to require a program to provide to the department a copy of the fire inspection certificate.

 

OAC 3793:4-1-02 is being amended to provide consistency with the program treatment rules. Specifically, deemed provisions have been identified and the proper name for the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board has been updated throughout the rule.  Additionally, the process for criminal background checks of employees has been clarified.
