OHIO DEPARTMENT OF JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES

Pursuant to Section 5101.54 and Chapter 119. of the Ohio Revised Code, the Director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services gives notice of the department's intent to amend the rule identified below and of a public hearing thereon.

 

Rule 5101:4-3-30 Food assistance employment and training. This rule is being proposed for amendment in order to align with federal policy.  This rule describes the requirements for a county agency to operate the food assistance employment and training program.  Language is being added to paragraph (B) to require a county agency to establish a procedure that ensures a contractor or agency operating a component of its employment and training program notifies the county agency within ten days when a mandatory participant fails to comply with the employment and training requirements.

A public hearing on the proposed rule will be held at the date, time, and location listed at the top of this notice. Either written or oral testimony will be taken at the public hearing.
