OHIO DEPARTMENT OF JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES

Pursuant to sections 5104.34, 5104.38 and Chapter 119. of the Ohio Revised Code, the director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services gives notice of the department's intent to consider the amendment of the rules as identified below and of a public hearing thereon.

 

Rule 5101:2-16-34, entitled Income Eligibility Requirements for Publicly Funded Child Care, is being proposed for amendment to add an excluded form of income and to clarify language. This rule sets forth the income requirements for the receipt of child care benefits. The changes to the rule are the addition of kinship permanency incentive (KPI) payments as excluded income and clarification of language.

 

Rule 5101:2-16-35, entitled Determination of Eligibility by the County Department of Job and Family Services (CDJFS) for Publicly Funded Child Care Benefits, is being proposed for amendment to update a form revision date and to clarify language. This rule sets forth the responsibilities of the county department of Job and Family Services for determining eligibility for child care benefits. The changes to the rule are an update of a form revision date and clarification of language.

A public hearing on the proposed rule(s) will be held at the date, time, and location listed at the top of this notice. Either written or oral testimony will be taken at the public hearing.
