OHIO DEPARTMENT OF JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES

Pursuant to section 5104.011 and Chapter 119. of the Ohio Revised Code, the director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services gives notice of the department's intent to consider the adoption, amendment, or rescission of the rule or rules as identified below and of a public hearing thereon.

 

Rule 5101:2-13-04, entitled Application and Issuance of Initial Licenses for Type A Homes, is being proposed for amendment to improve the initial licensing process for obtaining a type A home license. This rule sets forth the requirements regarding the process for applying for and receiving and initial license. The changes to the rule are updating the revision date of the forms that are referenced, requiring the administrator to attend a new orientation and training process and the information in the rule has been reorganized and restructured for easier understanding.

 

Rule 5101:2-13-06, entitled Procedures for Renewal of a Type A Home License, is being proposed for amendment as a result of improvements made to the license renewal process which allows the application to be completed electronically. This rule sets forth the requirements regarding the process for applying to renew a type A home license. The rule is being amended to update the revision date of the form referenced and to reorganize and restructure the renewal process requirements to make them easily understood. It also allows the administrator/owner to electronically complete the renewal application.

A public hearing on the proposed rule(s) will be held at the date, time, and location listed at the top of this notice. Either written or oral testimony will be taken at the public hearing. Additionally, written comments submitted or postmarked no later than the date of the public hearing will be treated as testimony.
