    THE CHANCELLOR OF THE OHIO BOARD OF REGENTS PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

    The Chancellor of the Ohio Board of Regents will hold a public hearing on the following rule actions May 18, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. in the Boardroom at the Ohio Board of Regents, located at 30 East Broad Street, 36th  Floor, Columbus, Ohio:

     

             3333-1-10 (HB 450 Amendment) - The proposed rule removes the required community service commitment and Federal GI Bill qualification for a veteran to be a resident eligible for an in-state tuition rate, and states that a veteran and spouse and dependents, are residents for in-state tuition rates if the veteran (or spouse or dependent for a veteran killed while serving on active military duty or missing in action or a prisoner of war) is domiciled in Ohio prior to the first day of the term of enrollment and the veteran served a minimum of 1 year and received a honorable discharge or a medical discharge or was killed while serving on active military duty or declared missing in action or a prisoner of war.
