Notice of Public Hearing

Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services

 

Pursuant to Section 119.03 of the Ohio Revised Code, notices hereby given that the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services will conduct a public hearing.

 

The following rules are being amended for the purpose listed below:

 

3793:2-1-06    Client Records

3793:2-1-08    Treatment Services

 

1)                  Align Ohio's definition of the alcohol and other drug case management service with Federal expectations so it will continue to be a Medicaid covered service. This includes describing and defining case management plans of care and describing and defining a new clinician type, a care management specialist.

2)                  Incorporates changes to accommodate use of electronic health records.

3)                  Incorporates medication assisted treatment as a medical somatic service.

 

Persons unable to attend the public hearing may submit written comments on the proposed rule.  Any written comments received or postmarked on or before the public hearing date will be treated as testimony and made available for public review.
