OHIO DEPARTMENT OF JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES

Pursuant to section 5101.142 and Chapter 119.03 of the Ohio Revised Code, the director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services gives notice of the department's intent to consider the amendment of the rule as identified below and of a public hearing thereon.

 

Rule 5101:9-6-25, entitled "ProtectOhio" is being proposed for amendment to update its description of the demonstration since its renewal on 10/1/04. This rule sets forth text revisions to harmonize its description of the demonstration with the demonstration's new terms and conditions; agreed to between (federal) HHS and Ohio, effective 10/1/04. The revisions do not impose any new requirements or duties. The "ProtectOhio" waiver ended September 30, 2015. ODJFS received a waiver extension that ends September 30, 2016. This rule is being revised to reflect changes in the federal terms and conditions.

A public hearing on the proposed rule(s) will be held at the date, time, and location listed at the top of this notice. Either written or oral testimony will be taken at the public hearing. Additionally, written comments submitted or postmarked no later than the date of the public hearing will be treated as testimony.
