OHIO DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENT PUBLIC NOTICE

MODIFICATION OF HOUSING TRUST FUND PROGRAM RULES

 

Notice is hereby given that the Director of Development, acting pursuant to Section 119.03 of the Ohio Revised Code, intends to file changes to the Housing Trust Fund Program ("HTFP") Rules as follows:

1.                  Rescind the following HTFP rules: 122:6-1-01 Definitions

122:6-1-02 Eligibility and evaluation criteria for the receipt of funds 122:6-1-05 Fund monitoring procedures

2.                  File the following New Rules as replacement for those rescinded: 122:6-1-01 Definitions

122:6-1-02 Eligibility and evaluation criteria for the receipt of funds 122:6-1-05 Fund monitoring procedures

 

3.                  Amend the following HTFP rules:

 

122:6-1-03 Procedures for paying out funds 122:6-1-04 Fund limitations

122:6-1-06 Fund repayment requirements

 

These rule changes provide for, among other things, reconciliation and increased clarity for the HTFP definitions, eligibility and evaluation criteria, procedures for paying out funds, fund limitations and fund monitoring procedures. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the filing of the rescission and replacement and amending of the rules governing the HTFP.

A public hearing regarding the changes to the HTFP rules is scheduled for: June 18, 2009
