    State Board of Sanitarian Registration Notice of Public Hearing

     

    The State Board of Sanitarian Registration has authorized a public hearing based on its intention to amend Ohio Administrative Code Rules, 4736-1-01, as it applies to the definition of full-time employment and 4736- 11-05, concerning fees charged to training agencies.

     

    In accordance with Sections 119.03 and 4736.03 of the Ohio Revised Code, and Rule 4736-3-04 of the Ohio Administrative Code adopted by the State Board of Sanitarian Registration under Section 119.03 of the Revised Code, the State Board of Sanitarian Registration will hold a public hearing on the above referenced rules at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2005 in the Main Boardroom at 77 South High Street, 31st Floor, Columbus, Ohio.

     

    The purpose of Proposed Amended Rule 4736-1-01 entitled, "Definitions" is to modify the definition of Full- time Employment to allow part-time employed sanitarians to accumulate hours and earn experience in a manner that is equitable to an employer's full-time position.

     

    The purpose of Proposed Amended Rule 4736-11-05 entitled, "Registration and Approval of Training Agency" is to increase training agency application and renewal fees by eight percent.

     

    Any person affected by the amendments may appear and be heard in person, by their attorney, or both; may present their arguments, or contentions, orally, or in writing; offer and examine witnesses; and present evidence tending to show that the amendments, if effectuated, will be unreasonable or unlawful.
