5101:4-3-30 Food assistance employment and training program.

Pursuant to sections 5107.05, and Chapter 119. of the Ohio Revised Code, the director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services gives notice of the department's intent to consider the adoption, amendment, and rescission of rules as identified below and of a public hearing thereon.

 

The following rules 5101:4-3-11.1, 5101:4-3-11.2, 5101:4-3-28 and 5101:4-3-31 are all being rescinded and are being incorporated into one of the following rules.

 

Rule 5101:4-3-09 entitled Food assistance: Ohio works first appraisal, self sufficiency contract requirements, and sanctions, is being proposed for amendment to implement the voluntary food assistance employment and training program. This rule sets forth the requirements for the OWF appraisal, self sufficiency contracts requirements and sanctions.

 

Rule 5101:4-3-19 entitled Food assistance: voluntary quit and reduction of work effort, is being filed as a new rule to replace rescinded rule 5101:4-3-19. The changes are due to implementing the voluntary food assistance employment and training program. This rule sets forth the voluntary quit and reduction of work effort provisions.

 

Rule 5101:4-3-29 entitled Food assistance employment and training: county agency responsibilities, is being filed to replace rescinded rule 5101:4-3-29. The title has been changed and a section from 5101:4-3-31 was added to this rule because the rule is being rescinded. The changes are due to implementing the voluntary food assistance employment and training program. This rule sets forth the county agencies responsibilities for the employment and training program.

 

Rule 5101:4-3-30 entitled Food assistance employment and training: rights and responsibilities, is being filed to replace rescinded rule 5101:4-3-30. The changes are due to implementing the voluntary food assistance employment and training program. This rule sets forth the rights and responsibilities of the employment and training program.

 

A copy of the proposed rules is available, without charge, to any person affected by the rules at the address listed below. The rules are also available on the internet at http://www.registerofohio.state.oh.us/. A public hearing on the proposed rules will be held at the date, time, and location listed at the top of this notice. Either written or oral testimony will be taken at the public hearing. Additionally, written comments submitted or postmarked no later than the date of the public hearing will be treated as testimony.
