    PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAID

    Pursuant to Chapter 119. and section 5164.02 of the Revised Code, the director of the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) gives notice of the Department's intent to amend, and rescind and file as new the rules identified below and of a public hearing thereon.

     

    Rule 5160-49-01, entitled "Non-medicaid funded Ohio access success rule", is being rescinded and filed as a new rule entitled "Ohio access success project" in compliance with five year rule review.

     

    Changes to the rule 5160-49-01 include:

    ·         Renamed the rule from "Non-medicaid funded Ohio access success project" to "Ohio Access Success Project" to be consistent with the ORC (5166.35).

    ·         State agency name references, form numbers, and rule number references were updated to reflect agency name and statutory and Administrative Code numbering changes.

    ·         Clarified definitions and removed definitions not applicable to the Ohio Access Success project.

    ·         Reformatted the rule for easier readability.

    ·         Removed language that explained the projected monthly services costs associated with community living and NF residency.

     

     

    A copy of each of the proposed rules is available at the address listed below and without charge, to any person affected by the rules and at the county department of job and family services. The proposed rules are also available on the internet at  http://www.registerofohio.state.oh.us/. A public hearing on the proposed rules will be held at the date, time and location listed at the top of this notice. Either written or oral testimony will be taken at the public hearing. Additionally, written comments submitted or postmarked no later than the date of the public hearing will be treated as testimony.
