Pursuant to section, 5153.163 and Chapter 119.of the Revised Code, the director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) gives notice of the department's intent to consider the rescission of the rule identified below and of a public hearing thereon. The following is a brief explanation of the rule:

 

 

OAC rule 5101:2-44-09, entitled "Requirements for the State adoption special services subsidy (SASSS) program," approved before July 1, 2004 which sets forth the services that the PCSA may continue to provide (SASSS) based upon the adoptive child's continued need for developmental, medical or mental health services, is no longer in effect. This rule has been rescinded.

 

 

A copy of the proposed rules is available, without charge, to any person affected by the rule at the address listed below. The rule is also available on the internet at  http://www.registerofohio.state.oh.us/. A public hearing on the proposed rule will be held at the date, time, and location listed at the top of this notice. Either written or oral testimony will be taken at the public hearing. Additionally, written comments submitted or postmarked no later than the date of the public hearing will be treated as testimony.
