As part of the 5-year rule review for the state's birth defects information system, each of 4 rules has been reviewed.

This rule sets confidentiality standards for information obtained through the birth defects information system. The rule also states the purposes for which the information may be used. ODH proposes to amend the rule to ex[amd "appropriate

entities for research" to include non-medical facilities who meet the criteria.

7/26/10 No changes are being proposed to this rule. The rule is being re-filed to put it on the same JCARR agenda as rule 3701-57-02, which was re-filed last week.
