OHIO DEPARTMENT OF JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES

Pursuant to section 5104.042 and Chapter 119. of the Revised Code, the director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) gives notice of the department's intent to consider the adoption of the rules as identified below and of a public hearing thereon.

 

The following rules are being proposed for adoption and will be effective September 30, 2015:

 

5101:2-12-09.1 "Suspension of a child care center license" is being adopted to set forth the circumstances under which the ODJFS may immediately suspend the license of a child care center as well as the duration of the suspension. The rule also provides the process for the provider to appeal the decision to suspend.

 

5101:2-13-09.1 "Suspension of a type A home license" is being adopted to set forth the circumstances under which the ODJFS may immediately suspend the license of a Type A Home as well as the duration of the suspension. The rule also provides the process for the provider to appeal the decision to suspend.

 

5101:2-14-04.1 "Suspension of a type B home license" is being adopted to set forth the circumstances under which the ODJFS may immediately suspend the license of a Type B Home as well as the duration of the suspension. The rule also provides the process for the provider to appeal the decision to suspend.

 

A copy of the proposed rules are available, without charge, to any person affected by the rules at the address listed below. The rules are also available on the internet at  http://www.registerofohio.state.oh.us/. A public hearing on the proposed rules will be held at the date, time, and location listed at the top of this notice. Either written or oral testimony will be taken at the public hearing. Additionally, written comments submitted or postmarked no later than the date of the public hearing will be treated as testimony.
