NOTICE  OF PUBLIC  HEARING

 

 

 

Pursuant to section 119.03 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (DRC) hereby gives public notice of its intention to amend the following Administrati ve Rules:

 

5120:1-1-18    Release revocation bearing

5120:1-1-19    Procedures after revocation of release.

 

 

The referenced rules govern the release revocation hearing and the procedures subsequent to that hearing. Changes have been made for more efficiency, primarily eliminating a post revocation hearing to determine the time to be served by a returning parolee until the next parole consideration hearing.

 

A public hearing will be held on the proposed rule in Conference Room 204, at 1050 Freeway Drive North, Columbus, Ohio, on Thursday, September 4, 2008. All interested p?ties are invited to attend and comment for the reco?,which will be open at 9:30 a.m. and remai n open for a time sufficient to receive comments.
