NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Ohio Department of Youth Services, Legal Services, will conduct a public hearing on September 20, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. in the 2nd floor conference room, 51 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.

 

The purpose of the hearing is to consider amendments to the following Administrative Rules:

 

5139-2-15        Prohibited activity relating to weapons, intoxicating liquors, drugs, unauthorized correspondence, and hunting.

 

5139-2-28        Search of visitors and staff at Ohio department of youth services institutions.

 

5139-17-04     Contract period and reporting requirements.

 

 

Copies of the hearing agenda, full text of the rules, and any corresponding information are available in the Office of Legal Services.

 

The hearing will be conducted in accordance with Section 119.03 of the Revised Code.  It will provide an opportunity for all interested parties to offer any comments or opinions.  The content of the testimony will be limited to items on the agenda.
