NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENT ON OAC RULES 4713-1;8;11;13;15;19

 

DATE: TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 2013 9:00 A.M.

 

LOCATION: THE OHIO STATE BOARD OF COSMETOLOGY BOARD ROOM 1929 GATEWAY CIRCLE GROVE CITY, OHIO 43213

 

PURPOSE: For public commentary on proposed Chapters 4713- 1;8;11;13;15;19 of the Administrative Code, pursuant to Section 119.03 of The Ohio Revised Code, which allows the public to comment on rules pending before the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review.

 

The Board, pursuant to R.C. 121.39 and after extensive consultation with stakeholders and other interested parties, instituted a comment period in December, 2012 and January, 2013 to hear the public's views on these rules and re-wrote the existing rules in this Chapter, based upon that public commentary. The rules were then reviewed by the Lt. Governor's Office of Common Sense Initiative, changes recommended, and now the Board has proposed to the Joint Committee the revised rules of this Chapter.
