NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

The OHIO VETERINARY  MEDICAL LICENS? G BOARD, pursuant to Chapter 119. of the Ohio Revised Code, hereby gives notice that it will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of considering amendments to the following existing Rule 474??04 of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC). The hearing will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 201 5 at the Riffe Center, 19m Floor, Room 1914, 77 South High Street, Columbus, OH 4321 5 beginning at 8:30 a.m.

 

The Board is proposing to amend Rule 4741-1-04 OAC to  comply  with  a  statutory change to the Veterinary Practice Act. The amendment permits the Board to accept the applications of candidates for veterinary  l icensure  who  have  been  issued  a  certificate from the Program for the  Assessment  of  Veterinary  Education  Equivalence  (PAVE)  of the American Association of Veterinary  State  Boards  (AAVSB).  Rule  4741-1-04  OAC has been amended to mirror the language of the law.

 

Ind ividuals intending to testify are encouraged to pre-register by sending an email to info?,ovmlb.state.oh.us or calling 614-644-5281. All those wishing to provide testimony should bring ten ( 10) copies of their written testimony for the Board members and staff.

Testimony shall be limited to five (5) minutes per person. Written testimony will be introduced into evidence and may be submitted to Theresa Stir, Ohio Veteri nary Medical Licensing Board, 77 South High St., l 6t11 Floor, Columbus, OH 43215 for consideration by  the Board  members.   The full text  of the proposed rules will  be available on the
