    Pursuant to Sections 5104.011, 5104.07 and Chapter 119. of the Ohio Revised Code, the director of the Department of Job and Family Services gives notice of the department's intent to consider the rescission of child care rules as identified below and of a public hearing thereon.

    The rescission of these Chapter 5101:2-17 rules are due to the completion of a five year rule review conducted by the Bureau of Child Care and Development.

    The following Chapter 5101:2-17 rules are proposed for rescission as a result of ORC 119.032 five year rule review:

    A copy of the proposed rules is available, without charge, to any person affected by them at the address listed below. The rescinded rules will also be available on the internet at http://www.registerofohio.state.oh.us/index.jsp. A public hearing on the proposed rules will be held on October 22, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. until all testimony is heard in the Multi-Purpose Room located off the lobby in the Rhodes Office Tower, 30 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio. Either written or verbal testimony on these rules will be taken at the public hearing. Additionally, written comments submitted or postmarked no later than October 22, 2002  will be treated as testimony.
