NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OHIO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY

The Ohio Department of Public Safety, pursuant to Chapter 119, Ohio Revised Code, will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of soliciting comments regarding the adoption, amendment and recession of rules.

 

The public hearing will be conducted on Wednesday, October 20, 2015 beginning at 10:00 a.m. in room 122, located at 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43223 and continue until all parties in attendance have had an opportunity to be heard.

 

The following rules are proposed for amendment to clarify and establish requirements:

 

4501-55-01      Definitions and general provisions. 4501-55-03      Requirements for third-party examiners. 4501-55-04     Qualifications for third-party testers.

4501-55-05     Third-party testing facility.

 

Persons affected by the proposed rules may appear at the hearing and be heard in person, or by an attorney, or both, or may present their position, argument, or contention in writing. Persons may offer and examine witnesses and present evidence to show that the proposed rules will be unreasonable or unlawful if enacted.
