OHIO DEPARTMENT OF JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES

Pursuant to section 3125.25 and Chapter 119. of the Ohio Revised Code, the director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services gives notice of the department's intent to consider the amendment of the rule as identified below and of a public hearing thereon.

 

The following Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) rule is being proposed for amendment to comply with the revisions to section 3121.03 of the Revised Code.

 

•         Rule 5101:12-50-17, "Seek work orders," describes when the child support enforcement agency (CSEA) may issue an administrative order or request that the court issue an order requiring an obligor under a court support order to seek employment or engage in work activities under the Ohio works first (OWF) program when the CSEA determines that the obligor is unemployed, has no income, and does not have an account at any financial institution. The rule is being revised to comply with the revisions to section 3121.03 of the Revised Code.
