NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

A public hearing will be held by the Ohio Casino Control Commission on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. on the 6th  Floor of the One Columbus Building, located at 10 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. The purpose of the hearing is to solicit public comment on the following proposed rules, which are mandatory pursuant to 1347.15 of the Ohio Revised Code:

 

Rule 3772-9-05,  titled  "Transportation  of slot machines to and  from a  casino  facility." The  proposed amended rule describes the process by which a casino operator licensee may move slot machines within, around, and out of Ohio.

 

Rule 3772-9-12, titled "Game authentication." The proposed rule requires gaming vendors to ensure their electronic gaming equipment supports a game authentication terminal (GAT) for gaming equipment verification.

 

Rule 3772-9-13, titled "Redemption kiosks." The proposed rule concerns minimum internal control standards and establishes a framework specific to redemption kiosks.

 

Rule 3772-10-05, titled "Forms, records, and documents." The proposed amended rule describes the minimum internal controls of a casino operator pertaining to the receipt, control, and issuance of certain documents and records.

 

Rule 3772-10-18, titled "Table drop boxes and slot bill validator canisters: physical requirements and transportation." The proposed amended rule describes the physical requirements of table drop boxes and slot bill validator canisters.

 

Rule 3772-10-28, titled "Amendments to internal control plans." The proposed amended rule establishes the procedure of a casino operator licensee amending its internal control plans.

 

Rule 3772-11-11, titled "Chip specifications." The proposed amended rule sets forth the specifications required in the design and handling of value and non-value chips.

 

Rule 3772-11-13, titled "Primary, secondary, and reserve sets of gaming chips." The proposed amended rule establishes a requirement for casino operators to have primary, secondary and reserve sets of value and non- value chips.

 

Rule 3772-11-42, titled "Poker room; banks and transactions." The proposed amended rule describes the procedures to follow for handling transactions in a poker room bank.
