    Pursuant to section 5107.05, and Chapter 119 of the Ohio Revised Code, the director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services gives notice of the department's intent to amend rules on a permanent basis and of a public hearing thereon.

     

    Rule 5101:4-3-28 Food assistance employment and training, is being proposed for rescission. The contents of this rule are being added to rule 5101:4-3-30. This rule set forth the requirements for the employment and training programs.

     

    Rule 5101:4-3-30 Food assistance employment and training program, is being proposed for rescission and adoption to comply with the five year rule review as required in Ohio Revised Code 119.032. This rule sets forth the employment and training program and the rights and responsibilities of the county agency and the participants.

     

    Rule 5101:4-3-33 Food assistance employment and training: job search and job readiness, is being proposed for rescission and adoption to comply with the five year rule review as required in Ohio Revised Code 119.032. This rule sets forth the employment and training job search activity.

     

    Rule 5101:4-3-34 Food assistance employment and training: work experience program, is being proposed for rescission and adoption comply to with the five year rule review as required in Ohio Revised Code 119.032. This rule sets forth the work experience program process for food assistance participants who are subject to work activity requirements.

     

    Rule 5101:4-3-35 Food assistance employment and training: education and training activities, is being proposed for rescission and adoption to comply with the five year rule review as required in Ohio Revised Code 119.032. This rule sets forth the education and training activities assignment process for food assistance participants who are subject to work activity requirements.

     

    Rule 5101:4-3-36 Food assistance employment and training: displacement of other persons is being proposed for rescission and adoption to comply with the five year rule review as required in Ohio Revised Code 119.032. This rule establishes that work activity participants cannot be assigned to a position that would result in the loss of employment for an individual who is already employed in that position.

     

     

     

     

     

    Rule 5101:4-3-37 Food assistance employment and training: job development, is being proposed for rescission and adoption to comply with the five year rule review as required in Ohio Revised Code 119.032. This rule sets forth the job development process for food assistance participants who are subject to work activity requirements and provides the criteria for the program providers.

    Rule 5101:4-3-38 Food assistance employment and training: conciliation process is being proposed for rescission and adoption to comply with the five year rule review as required in Ohio Revised Code 119.032. This rule sets forth the conciliation process in resolving disputes with the food assistance employment and training participants.

    A copy of the proposed rules are available, without charge, to any person affected by the rules at the address listed below. The rules are also available on the internet at  http://www.registerofohio.state.oh.us/. A public hearing on the proposed rules will be held at the date, time and location listed at the top of this notice. Either written or oral testimony will be taken at the public hearing. Additionally, written comments submitted or postmarked no later than the date of the public hearing will be treated as testimony.
