4715-12-01                  Permissible   practices   of   a   dental   assistant   radiographer; supervision required; certificate license to be displayed.

 

 

 

(A)      A dental assistant radiographer may perform standard, diagnostic, radiologic procedures for the purpose of contributing to the provision of dental care to a dental patient.

 

(B)    A dental assistant radiographer may perform radiologic procedures only under the direct supervision of the supervising dentist.

 

(C)   The certificate license must be displayed in a conspicuous location in the office in which the dental assistant radiographer is employed, or shall be kept on file at the teaching institution and be made immediately available upon the request of an agent of the board.
