  • (A) Upon the waters of Springfield lake, no person shall operate or permit to be operated any watercraft powered by a motor or combination of motors with a total horsepower rating of more than two hundred fifty horsepower.

    (B) No person shall operate a watercraft at a speed greater than idle or no-wake speed between the hours of seven p.m. and ten a.m.

    (C) Between the hours of ten a.m. and seven p.m., no watercraft shall anchor, idle, or stop in the designated speed and ski zone except to retrieve a fallen skier.

    (D) Watercraft operating in the designated speed and ski zone shall travel in a counter-clockwise direction with the shoreline on the starboard side of the vessel.

    (E) Swimming from watercraft shall be permitted only in designated no-wake zones.

    (F) Hydroplanes, airboats, airfoils, tunnel hulls, drag hulls, wing-in-ground craft, hovercraft, and submersible watercraft are prohibited.
