    Rules set forth in Chapter 3701-5 of the Administrative Code have been reviewed as part of the five-year review of all rules within the Chapter. Rule 3701-5-01 is proposed with amendments.

    The rule lists the definitions as used in Chapter 3701-5. Updates have been made to the definitions of "sub-registrar" and "vital records." The definition of "delayed birth" has been amended with new language.

    This rule references the Chapters and Sections of the Revised Code. The R.C. is generally available in libraries and on the internet to persons who reasonably can be expected to be affected by the rule.

    5/23/2016 - OAC 3701-5-02 and 3701-5-07 are further amended to substitute "fetal

    death certificates" for "fetal death reports" to be consistent with earlier changes. All the other rules in this package -- including this one -- are re-filed to keep them on the same JCARR schedule.
